Climate Change Mitigation Scientist

Dr. Martin Wolf serves as the Climate Change Mitigation Staff Scientist for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group III Technical Support Unit for the IPCC Seventh Assessment Report cycle. In his role, Martin works closely with Technical Support Unit management to provide scientific support for Working Group III’s contributions to the Seventh Assessment Report and the Special Report on Climate Change and Cities.

Previously, Martin served as an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellow in the United States Senate and the Environmental Protection Agency. He earned a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, a Ph.D. in Climate Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and completed his postdoctoral studies in Environmental Law and Policy at Yale University.
