IPCC
Géninha is the Executive Assistant to the IPCC Chair during this seventh assessment cycle. She supports the Chair and Chair’s team, leading on logistics and operations, liaising with the IPCC Secretariat, the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), other organisations (including other UN organisations) and the IPCC Working Group Technical Support Units (TSU).
Prior to this cycle, Géninha served as Personal Assistant to the Co-Chair of Working Group III and Administrative Assistant to Working Group III TSU during the sixth assessment cycle. She also worked as a Science and Innovation Network Advisor, based at the British Embassy in Qatar, leading on developing science partnerships between Gulf countries and the UK. Geninha speaks several languages and in a past life ran her own translation business while living in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.
