IPCC Expert Meeting on Reconciling Land Use Emissions

The Meeting of IPCC experts held in Ispra, Italy on 9-11 July on Reconciling Estimates of Land Emissions was aimed at improving the policy relevance of the reporting of climate modelling results.  In particular, it considered the interpretation of anthropogenic net emissions from the land by climate modelers used in IPCC Assessments against the IPCC Methodologies previously published by the TFI and applied by parties in their reporting under the UNFCCC/Paris Agreement.
