This outreach event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be hosted by the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. The event will focus on the work of the IPCC, plans for the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) scope and process and the Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) findings (WGI, II and III and Synthesis Report). Delegates from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf cooperation countries will be invited, including policymakers at national, state and city government level; international and intergovernmental organizations; climate and disaster risk management community; business leaders and organizations; civil society organizations; local science and research community; youth groups and students, national, regional and international media will be invited.
