On Nov 29th, a side-event took place from 13:20-14:40 in room Aguila at the UNFCCC in Cancun, Mexico. IPCC's Task Force on Inventories (TFI) reported on the expert meeting that it held in response to an invitation by SBSTA 32. This side event also reported on developing the Emission Factor Database (EFDB). The EFDB is meant to be a recognised library, where users can find emission factors and other parameters with background documentation or technical references that can be used for estimating greenhouse gas emissions and removals.
